It goes something like this, "Are we buying into to the Suns tickets with the so-and-so's?" Every season my extended family pools funds to buy 2 tickets for 10 games. Until this year. Granted we had more than one issue, but for me, I couldn't let it be "nothin' but net" again this year.

My husband and I used to buy 2 tickets to 3 Suns games each season. I pulled out my calculator and pushed some numbers. For the same money, we could buy 2 tickets to the following: 1 Suns playoff game, 1 Broadway show at Gammage, 1 Play at the Herberger/ SCPA/ or Phx Theatre, and 4 shows at one of several smaller award-winning theatre houses in town. Good seats at all events.

 I grew up playing basketball and going to the Nutcracker; I love the roar of applause in both the arena and the theatre. But if you find yourself at a game standing in line to buy a $12.50 beer, consider that you've almost paid for a ticket to theaters like: Space 55, Theatre Artists Studio, Nearly Naked Theatre or Stray Cat Theatre.
